Our Story
A Diagnosis That Became a Mission
Women Cultivating Greatness began with a mother’s determination to ensure her child — and every learner like him — would be understood, supported, and empowered to thrive.
What started in a living room with 15 women has grown into a movement dedicated to replacing shame with understanding, isolation with community, and barriers with practical pathways to support.
Today, WCG is building a stronger village where learners, families, educators, employers, healthcare professionals, faith communities, and community organizations work together to create meaningful pathways to opportunity and success.

Women Cultivating Greatness
WCG is dedicated to fostering an inclusive community that empowers diverse learners through education, support, advocacy, and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
WCG is a community wellness and support initiative centered around educational equity, emotional wellness, accessibility, and inclusive opportunities. We help families and communities better understand dyslexia, ADHD, short-term memory challenges, executive functioning challenges, neurodivergence, and emotional wellness.

Our audiences include teen boys and girls, college students, young professionals, adults diagnosed later in life, parents, educators, neurodivergent individuals, underserved communities, healthcare and community professionals, therapists/providers, and advocates.
Why This Work Matters
The Need
People who learn differently are often intelligent but misunderstood, creative thinkers, emotionally exhausted from masking or struggling, and searching for strategies, confidence, tools, community, and belonging.

Our Journey
How We Got Here
The Beginning
Kim Mason hosted the first Diva’s Day in her home with 15 women, planting the seed for what would become WCG.
Growing the Village
The movement expanded from living rooms to community spaces, reaching more diverse learners and families.
Formalizing the Mission
Women Cultivating Greatness was established as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Empowering the Village™
WCG launched its signature Empowering the Village™ initiative, expanding support to the entire community.
Learning Differently Doesn’t Mean Learning Less™
Life skills program for diverse learners, launched as part of the Empowering the Village initiative.
