From the Learning Disabilities Resources Foundation, Inc

  • More than 40 million US adults have dyslexia and only 2 million of them have a diagnosis. Between 70% and 80% of people harbouring limited reading proficiency suffer from dyslexia.

  • There are more females who have neurological disorders. Female symptoms present differently than males.

There is research which supports the suggestion that most individuals who have these neurological disorders often have one or more emotional instability such as depression, anxiety, and a constant sense of failure to name a few.
